About The Social Network: How does this whole "dating club" work?

First of all, we're proud to say that unlike most Chicago dating and social clubs, we have been around for 19 years!
Our members are a community of single professionals living in Chicago and the suburbs. This means you meet a terrific variety of people at our events - people you just wouldn't meet on your own or in your neighborhood.
You get to know other members by attending our events - and since we have more members joining all the time, the more events you attend, the more people you'll meet! You'll find that our members are very friendly and outgoing... after all, this is a social club! And it's through our events that you have the chance to interact in a meaningful way with everyone. As a result, you're able to find whatever you're looking for, both friendships and relationships!
We hold The Social Network events twice each month. Most of the events are located in Chicago, but we do hold outings in the suburbs, too.
All of our events are mixers. Some are fun and active excursions like golf outings and sporting events, while other are more upscale, taking advantage of the spectacular venues Chicagoland has to offer. Every event gives you the opportunity to meet people and expand your network.
We love it when members form their own groups around their individual interests, too. And through our Charitable Singles program, we encourage our members to work together to help local charities. All of these events and programs keep The Social Network a dynamic, vibrant organization.
Our Charitable Singles program allows us to pool our time and talents to collectively give back to the community. Members promote opportunities to volunteer or donate time or business trades with charities they're involved with, on the Members Only section of our website and in our weekly newsletter.
Think of it as another chance to meet someone along the way with similar values, goals and dedication to our community.
Additionally, for every new member that joins each month, The Social Network donates a portion of the fee to a non-profit organization. Past recipients have included the Susan G. Komen Foundation, Autism Speaks, the Humane Society of Chicago, and the American Heart Association.

Because we want to keep our members safe and our events filled with similarly social-minded single professionals, we are an exclusive club and there is an application process.
